I havent checked to see if there is a software to program the four DPI settings. The two extra right hand thumb buttons are a perfect addition. I game a lot and honestly dont need all the extra buttons that some mouses have. I recently purchased the older version of the pictek mouse and didnt really like the scroll wheel, this newest version is a major improvement.
PS I have owned the following mice and I really like their ergonomics (for reference): RAT 7, Dragon War G4, Mazer E-Blue Type-R, Dland Zelotes. Its ergonomics are amazing and the double left click button is actually super nice because it helps prevent finger fatigue at work when doing stuff where you have to double click a lot.
